Our product, artemia cyst is the excellent fodder which is suitable for feeding especially baby shrimps and fish. It has high adaptability to the hostile environment, and has good fertility. The larva of the artemia cyst is nutrition with high protein, thus  it is a fantastic biological fodder of fishes, shrimps and crabs. By careful screening  and processing with the use of the most advanced processing equipment and technology, our products have no impurity, but have high hatching rate and abundant nutrition.

Grain/g > 300000, protein > 70%, lipid >20%, highly unsaturated fatty acid 15mg>g, DW  ash specification 12%, water content 5-8%, hatching rate >90% ,impurity <1%

 

3. Product Package and Storage

The products are packed by vacuum cans, and every can’s weight is 425 grams, and 12 cans per carton.

 

To store artemia cysts properly, keep out of direct sunlight. For short term storage, store in a cool dry place. If the artemia cysts are not used immediately, keep the container tightly sealed to prevent the contents from moisture. Once the container has been opened, use within a few days time.

For long term storage:

Keep frozen at (0ºC) -17ºC or below. You’d better store them under refrigerated conditions between 0 °C and +5°C for up to 24 months.

If you take the artemia cysts from storage, please keep 12 hours outside, then to hatch.

5. FAQ

Q:How to hatch artemia cysts?

A: To make the proper hatching condition, the temperature should be around

28-30¡æ, and PH value should be 8-9, and the percentage of seawater should be 2-3%. The 1000-2000LX  continuous lighting is needed necessarily.

Pouring 200ml water and 0.25g ovum into the the tapered glass tube to hatch. The aeration rate is decreasing from beginning to the end of the process, and the ovum drifts in the water adequately. This process will take 24 hours.
